The short answer

Consider Wash&Drain if you regularly hand-wash a small batch of dishes and dislike tipping a full bowl. Skip it if your sink already feels cramped or you mainly wash wide pans: an extra vessel can make your working space smaller. Its value depends on your washing routine, not on having another kitchen accessory.

What the manufacturer specifies

The gray model 85056 has a removable straining/draining plug and handles. The manufacturer lists 20 cm height, 31 cm width and 30 cm depth, approximately 8 × 12¼ × 12 inches. Care instructions call for warm soapy water, thorough drying and avoiding harsh cleaners such as bleach.

Measure the working space, not only the opening

Make a 31 × 30 cm paper template and place it at the level where the bowl would sit. Curved sink corners and a raised drain can interfere even when the top opening looks large. Check faucet reach, space for your hand at the plug and somewhere to rinse a plate outside the bowl. The template is a screening check, not a fit guarantee.

Choose by the dishes you actually wash

Before ordering, place your largest everyday plate and mug together in your current sink. Think through loading, scrubbing, draining and putting the bowl away. If each stage requires moving the bowl, a simple sink plug may suit you better. A separate bowl is most defensible when it creates a useful washing zone without blocking the rinse zone.

US and Israel purchase checks

The source is the US manufacturer page; it is not a verified offer for your address. US shoppers should confirm the selected color/model and return terms. Israeli shoppers should use the centimeter measurements and verify the exact model with a local seller or a seller explicitly serving Israel. No Israeli stock, delivery or final checkout cost has been established.

Compare by how you will use it

Your useWhat to check before buying
Bowl versus sink plugChoose a separate bowl when dividing the sink into washing and rinsing areas is useful. Choose the sink itself when large cookware needs the full basin.
Drain feature versus upkeepThe buying question is whether emptying without tipping saves enough effort to justify cleaning and storing another item. Do not assume a plug eliminates sink maintenance.

Buying in the United States

Set your delivery ZIP code before comparing offers. Check shipping charges, taxes shown at checkout, the return window and whether a third-party seller handles fulfilment. A US retailer listing does not establish availability at your address.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit every sink?

No. Check the lower basin shape, faucet clearance and room to operate the plug, not just overall width.

Is it worth buying for a dishwasher household?

Only if you still hand-wash enough items to give it a regular job. For an occasional mug, the storage trade-off may outweigh the convenience.
